    Ja, ich habe den guten Gordon nämlich! Deshalb und auch rein aus Interesse wegen meiner Sympathien zu den Browns die Frage.....

    Siehe Prater, Matt. Das Echo interessiert die nfl einen scheiß bzw. Hängen die Jobs der Schreiberlinge an der nfl. So das sich kein großes Medium traut da msl Stimmung zu machen

    Wenn Gordon aus Frust über die Sperre jetzt seine Freundin verprügelt, darf er also zur Week 3 im nächsten Jahr wieder mitmachen, right? :hinterha:

    Lächerliche Regel (zugelassen von der lächerlichsten Gewerkschaft der Welt).
    Lächerlicher Grenzwert minimal überschritten (B-Probe war lächerlicherweise unter dem Grenzwert).
    Lächerlich lange Strafe (und ja: vor allem im Vergleich zur lächerlichen Strafe für Ray Wifebeater).

    aber:
    Lächerlicher Bestrafter, der es nicht schafft Abstand zu halten zu dem was zwischen ihm und nem Gehalt steht mit dem er für sich selbst und Generationen seiner Nachkommen sorgen könnte.

    Nein. Und wenn Rice seine Frau nochmal verprügelt, wird er bestimmt auch nicht mehr so glimpflich davon kommen. Der Vergleich ist Kappes.

    Und das Rice beim nächsten Mal wesentlich härter bestraft wird weist Du aus sicherer Quelle? Direkten Draft zu Onkel Rodger?

    Unfassbar bitter, aber trotzdem gilt mehr den je : Go Browns !
    Zeit, den nächsten Strohhalm auszupacken. Wir hoffen jetzt auf den "Richardson-Effekt", was bedeutet, das dass Team jetzt noch enger zusammenrückt und den Ausfall gemeinsam kompensiert.

    Ich meine gelsen zu haben das im Zusammenhang mit THC noch nie ein Urteil der Nfl erfolgreich angefochten wurde oder die Strafe aufgehoben.ganz sicher bin ich mir aber nicht.

    Im US-Blätterwald (bzw. den US NFL-Foren) bahnt sich ein shitstorm in Richtung NFL/Goodell an , das hätte ich so nicht unbedingt erwartet.

    Naja, sieht man ja auch hier im Thread, wenn schon eigefleischte Steelers-Fans sich (ehrlich gemeint) gewissermaßen auf die Seite der Browns stellen.

    Was ich meine: das unterstreicht ja nur, welche Farce dieses Urteil eigentlich ist.

    Ohne Worte....das NFL-"Reglement" ist in dieser Hinsicht nichts als reine Willkür :bengal
    Tut mir echt leid für euch, die Steelers haben da in den letzten Jahren auch so ihre Erfahrungen gemacht - da fühlt man sich irgendwie so hilflos...

    Für die Browns ist das echt hart und dass Goodell so lange gewartet hat mit der Entscheidung ist unter aller Sau.

    Aber vielleicht muss man es auch mal aus einer andere Sicht sehen:
    Dieser gewaltige Schuss vor den Bug ist vielleicht Gordons letzte Chance aufzuwachen und zu erkennen, dass er offensichtlich ein Problem hat, was er ernsthaft behandeln lassen muss.
