Cleveland Browns Offseason 2014

Gordon testet in Probe A 16ng und in Probe B 13,6ng.

    Gordon :

    Zitat

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- No decision is expected Friday on Josh Gordon's indefinite ban for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy, and he'll be back in Cleveland by Saturday, league sources have told cleveland.com.

A decision is expected soon, but not immediately after Friday's appeal hearing at the NFL offices in New York City.

It's uncertain if Gordon will be back in time Saturday to participate in the Family Day scrimmage Saturday at the University of Akron, which begins at 11:30 a.m.

  • Gordons´Anhörung in NY dauerte 10 Stunden, heute geht´s weiter.

  • Zitat

The Browns were awarded offensive lineman Michael Bowie off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced Sunday.

    Bowie:

    Zitat

Now, Bowie belongs to the Browns. Bowie was the Seahawks' 7th-round draft pick in 2013. He played in 9 games as a rookie, starting in 8 of them, at right tackle. Bowie was a candidate to start in 2014, and Pro Football Focus graded him as the "stud" of the Seahawks' offensive line last year:

Stud: With injuries depleting the ranks, it was left to Michael Bowie (+7.1) to lead the team with their highest grade. He may eventually end up at guard (as he was for their recent playoff victory over the Saints) with his run blocking particularly impressive.

Momentan verletzt (Schulter) , hier ein mögliches Szenario:

    Zitat

Depending on Bowie's shoulder surgery (projected to be out 4-6 months), the Browns are likely to carry him on their roster through the entire preseason and then place him on injured reserve. He could then be eligible for short-term IR designation, or the team could just decide to stash him for 2015.

    Montag:

    Zitat

Before practice started, the media couldn't help but notice that WR Josh Gordon's car had pulled into the parking lot. Sure enough, when practice started, Gordon was on the field and ready-to-practice -- a surprise for everybody, considering his appeal hearing was set to continue Monday. As we later learned, Gordon's appeal hearing would continue at noon without him being their in-person, but Gordon left practice early so he could join the hearing over the phone.

    Defense :
Hier muss man sich wohl keine Sorgen machen.
Hervorheben muss man Whitner, von Day1 an der erwartete Leader , überzeugt durch Leistung, all over the field. Unglaubliche play recognition , setzt Blitze , tackelt , verbuchte bereits mehrere INT´s.

    Zitat

In team drills, reports say that Manziel was just 6-of-17 in passing for the day.
In team drills, Hoyer was reportedly 11-for-22 in passing.

    Schau´mer mal...;)

  • Nochmal Gordon :

    Zitat

The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot reports suspended WR Josh Gordon is expecting a decision on his appeal in 1-3 weeks.
Gordon's hearing continued and concluded on Monday while he listened in via phone after practicing with the team. The 1-3 week timeframe is longer than most expected, and isn't exactly getting Gordon an answer in a "timely" fashion. It doesn't sound like we'll know anything this week. All we can do is wait.

All we can do is wait......alles schön und gut, wegen mir eine Woche, aber 3 ?

    -----------------
It is time for us to do what we have been doing and that time is every day.

  • Dazu passend :

    Zitat

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports free agent Santonio Holmes has drawn interest from the Browns.
That's in addition to the Bears, who worked Holmes out on Tuesday. It's not surprising, as the Browns' receiver corps is perhaps the thinnest in the league. The apparent newfound interest in Holmes comes after he spent nearly five months on the street without so much as drawing a visit. Holmes' attitude has caught up with him, though he's trending toward having a Week 1 roster spot.

    Quelle: rotoworld

    Zitat

Coach Mike Pettine said third-round ILB Christian Kirksey is "as advertised."
Getting a ton of first-team reps, Kirksey looks like the favorite to start next to Karlos Dansby. "He’s been great," said Pettine. "If you were just an observer at practice and didn’t have a roster, you wouldn’t think he was a rookie. ... We just felt a lot better when he got here and realized that this kid is a complete linebacker." In the Kiko Alonso role under Pettine, Kirksey makes for a great IDP sleeper.

    QB´s:
Hoyer startet gegen Detroit, Manziel vorraussichtlich vs Redskins.

    Zitat

UN-OFFICIAL PASSING TOTALS TODAY FOR JOHNNY – 18/26 with 1 pass TD and 1 rush TD

Rein vom Gefühl her würde ich mich imo auf keinen fixen Starter festlegen : 50/50

    oder
